What do you think about dieting? Have you ever been on a severe diet? Have you really lost weight or have you taken back all the weight?

Dieting is very important. My friend lost weight through diet and exercise. She plans on staying with her diet and exercise to keep the weight off.

Severe dieting is efficient but it is not effective. Once for 42 days all I had was a grapefruit and coffee daily and I got really sick and lost 40 pounds but gained much more back and in the long run it doesn't help. It's only a different symptom of the problem which for me was the fact that I am a compulsive overeater or to put it another way I have a problems with (over)eating. For those 42 days I was behaving as an anorexic. It's much healthier to lose weight the correct way, slowly and surely. To live a healthy life, balance and moderation in everything is what I learned through that awful experience.
