"What if..."

Because of too many problems and lack of faith in God, many people attempts to commit suicides... Other used to jump in higher places, other used ropes and poisonous materials... Among all of these ways to commit suicide, i have something in mind that really puzzles me every time this thought visits me... What if the poisonous material to be used by a suicide victim is expired, can it be still effective to use? What do you think?
