I think its very romantic. So call me old fashion i don;t see anything wrong with it. I can't help but laugh when my husband does sing to me. But all in all it's very romantic.

I am known to be a hopeless romantic, so this answer may be biased by that. Anyway, I believe that being serenaded is a very beautiful expression of how you feel about someone. I enjoy being serenaded. I also love when my husband has the radio on in the background and sings the songs in my ear, and when he grabs me to dance when the music is playing while singing the song to me. I love that he still thinks to do little spontaneous things like that, even if it isn't a full out serenade.

I love it when my husband sings to me. It is sweet and romantic. But sometimes it is also funny and silly when he decides to act that way instead. It just depends on his and my mood at the time. He either romances me or makes me laugh, so either way, it's all good!

I find it romantic if we base it on the feeling of the one you will serenade because it will make them feel very special. But for some people (not me), they find this very old fashioned.
