I am just beside myself with wonder as to "WHY" the world has to embrace the concept of bucking the system, with making an obvious wrong a right? This is a nice kid from a nice family that just can't sing? He's not a bad kid, he's not an Axe Murderer that we know of. He's just NOT good enough to be "THE AMERICAN IDOL" He can sing at home, he can sing in the park, he doesn't deserve to be on the show anymore.
The other contestants are working their hearts out to be able to make it One more week. His is just show up and some idiot will design a website and stir up the masses and he will still be here long after someone MORE deserving is gone?
Why is that fair?
Is American Idol as we know it Gone ? Simon said that IF this kid wins he will NOT be back next year. Is this a publicity stunt? or is it just because he's lost control?
I don't know what it is but as part of the viewing audience it sure takes a bit of the spark and excitement out of it for me?
What about you? whats your opinion on whats happening out there?

I was sure hoping that after the disasterous "faux hawk" the teeny boppers may have been turned off. But you are wrong in one aspect, he is an Axe Murderer. He's bludgeoned every song he's ever sang on Idol.
If Simon leaves I'll be sitting on some couch with him watching the news. I won't watch Idol without my Simon. lol

It has changed quite a bit since it aired. I think that they should keep the voting to one per person...This kid has alot of teenage votes atleast in my area...I don't think he should have made it this far and there needs to be some kind of safety measure to correct such a thing...I have seen a lot better singers get taken off but he is still there. It amazes me quites a bit...Scares me to all so think what are teenagers think is good music and sound..Then again I have heard some of the things they call music...LOL..

As you know, when you responded to to my discussion on this topic, most people do not think it is fair.

Do you really think that Simon would quit if that happened? Well, I guess all good things must end, ha ha.
More to the point, do you actually think that Sanjaya could win? That would certainly change my opinion of Americans taste in music. Being Canadian I don't have to take the blame for any of this. I can just watch and wonder and wait until our Canadian Idol comes on this season. Now there's a talent pool. ha ha.
