How did you meet your best friend? Do you have a best friend?

How did you all meet your best offline friend (or even online friends) if you're a person who tends to make more friends online instead of offline as some people are wont to do. If you don't have a "best" friend, you may discuss how you've met your closest friends. I personally don't have a "best friend" per se who is not in my family, but of my friends I've made in life, the circumstances are usually random. For instance, I once moved to another house and right across the street were some friendly kids to play catch with and there you go, instant friends.

I think you can find a good friend, someone just to talk to and hang out with.

We met in the local church,we were just picking up our hymn books and we spoke to each other, found out that we lived fairly near to each other and from then on in have been the best of friends,we have similar interests and we go to the sewing classes together,I suppose it has been good to find a friend who has so much in common with me.

Churches are excellent places to meet people. It's nice that you were able to find a companion near you and that she enjoys sewing as well and have taken classes together. I assume it's a "she" because of the interests and your username. Thanks for responding.

Try forums in areas that interest you. Also, many communities have forums and gatherings for online people. Personally, I met my best friend in high school and we have been best friends for many many years now.

I prefer offline friends sometimes, because you can actually talk to them. Some social sites are nice though.

honestly speaking, i have lost a lot of friends when my family lost our business. my friends in highschool were still friends with me but i think they think less of me already and i feel a little ashamed being with them... my college friends are okay and we have been seeing each other until now... i think they are the bestest of my friends. i have no specific best friend right now.

College friends, at least in my experience, tend to mean more than high school friends. Perhaps that's because one is more mature at the time.

it was random I called a massage place, I was VERY STRESSED, CHRONIC PAIN even. I wanted a massage right then. Was referred to a day spa then. Somehow I decided to wait till tomorrow. Then an angel walked into my like. She pretended to be stupid at first. I figured well she is gorgeous and that was the best massage I ever had. At the second one I did some tests and found out she is way smarter than me. So, I got excited and went back 80 times or so to see for sure. Now she is my best friend, wether she knows it or not. An angel !!!! She is a real person and has PLENTY of problems too, like anyone does, when you look past one or two flaws, she is perfect though.

Quite an interesting experience. It just goes to show you that a potential worker can turn into a friend. Do you still have to pay when you go to the spa?
