There is a lot of talk that he will be the one to die...
What do you think...I have read all the books and seen all the movies..most more than once...I think it could go either way..Something has got to give to make the ending real...What do you think...Inquiring minds want to know...!

While I hope that JKR doesn't kill off Harry, I honestly have no idea which way it will go. JKR is so great at keeping you guessing, that I could see her killing off Harry at the end to save the rest of the wizarding world. I guess we'll just have to wait until July 21st to find out for sure what happens.

I think he will survive - but that it may not look like it at first. I think it will take a lot of the Power that Voldemort Knows Not to bring him back.

I love the Harry Potter series. Like you I have read all the books and seen all the movies. I think if I was writing the book and did not want someone to come back and do a sequel, like they did with "Gone With The Wind", I would kill the main character for sure. I know the author is torn between this decision and only she can decide if she wants anything else written about the series. I think even if someone else tried to write more or a sequel it would never get the recognition that this series has gotten. She is a very compassionate author and really get into her characters, so she may not have the ability to kill the main one off. I guess we can only sit and speculate and wait.

I am torn by that question. Part of me thinks that he will get killed off because I think JK Rowling is very different from other authors and she may want to tie everything up. But on the other hand, I just feel like she might not do that because that would be very depressing. The Septology is based around his life, and so i feel like if she kills him off, its like she is killing the whole story and fantasy world, and so people might be upset or whatever. So i think it can go either way.
