That is my goal in life.
I love small children.
My grandmother also had twins, and my great great grandmother had them as well. They say it always skips a generation, and I am next in the running. None of my cousins have had them yet.
Don't worry, I want them when I am ready.
Have you ever had twins? Am I kidding myself, wanting them so bad? Do you think I'll have them?

I really didn't want to have twins. I found out at 20weeks pregnant there were two and I didn't know what to do with myself. I knew it would be overwhelming and it is. But now that they're here, I just couldn't pick which one to have if it were just one. Seems ridiculous because those two little people were brought here together for a purpose, just like all twins are.
Some women drop more than one egg in their cycle, and this is a genetic condition that passes onto the females of that family. Sounds like you may be a good canidate.
My father is a twin. All the cousins have been waiting their turn until it hit me. And I'm adopted!
If you have them, all you need is: patience and flexibility.

Dreaming and wanting to have your dream child is a normal phenomenon among expecting women especially those who are first time moms. Some want boys or girls and some twins but some would just want any gender for as long as they are normal and healthy. Having the twins as your relatives had would all depend on genetics and it is virtually impossible to predict whether you will have them or not. Even identical twins do not increase the chances of having twins though fraternal twins can. I think the best outlook would be to just accept whatever it is that God would present to you whether it be a boy or a girl or a twin. Love them unconditionally for they are gifts from the Lord that we should take care and nurture. Be thankful for what you will have for not everyone is given the equal opportunity to have them. Goodluck on your journey to motherhood. God Bless!

that shouldnt be too hard with today's technogly, they can help make twins for you, even they can make it to be girls or boys, or one girl or one boy, all can be done by the help of doctor. i am sure you would be happy about that.

if the twins were fraternal and it was all thru the maternal lines, then yes you may have a chance. You may have a gene that makes you produce more than one egg during your cycles- thats the only way that twins are genetic or "run in families." Twins are cute, i'd never want them tho! lol good luck!

Its funny you say that. I have a boy, 3 and a girl 6 months, and I really want twins too. My dad had twin girls, before me, and my grandma was a twin, so they run in my family, too. Maybe we are kidding ourselves, in that it will prbably be way harder than we anticipate, but, people do it, Good Luck and I hope you get them!
