Do you sleep with a fan?

Yah, i used to use fan when i'm sleeping. I have ceiling fan in my room, it is a small fan but it makes me comfortable while sleeping. I dont want that fan that sits on the floor coz it has a very heavy air coming out and i dont like that. I prefer to have my small ceiling fan that makes my room cold and makes me and my daughter comfortable while sleeping..

I always sleep with a fan on. For some reason I can't sleep with out some kind of backround noise. I don't even neccessarily use it for cooling me down, it is just the only thing that helps me to fall asleep.

Before I met my husband I never slept with a fan on. And I would always wake up around 6 in the morning due to an older man crushing cans with a hammer next to my apartment window. He would do this almost every morning, same time, same place. It was so annoying! When my husband (then boyfriend) started spending the night at my place he introduced me to his fan LOL (one of those tall thin stand up ones) and said he needed it in order to get a good night's sleep. At first I thought he was crazy! LOL I had a heck of a time sleeping with THAT noise! Eventually I got use to it, and 15 years later I am still using a fan, though it is an air cleaner now. It's just as loud if not louder than the conventional stand up fans when set on high, plus it cleans the air. What a bonus! LOL Before I forget, I was able to sleep through the can crusher guy once I got used to sleeping with a fan. :)

I have to sleep with a fan on. I have a large metal industrial strength fan next to my bed and it sounds like a jet engine going off in my room. I dont know if it is the noise or the air that I like the best but I do not think I could live with out it.

i also couldnt sleep without a fan. i always turn it to its maximum. the blast of cool air and the noise really puts me to sleep. without it, i couldnt get the sleep that i wanted.

I love sleeping with a fan on! Since we moved I have not slept with it on. We have a floor one....it's like a tall, skinny one. It's great. Maybe this is the reason I have not slept as well since we have moved. Then again, maybe it's still adjusting to living in a different place.

I sleep with a fan and got intoit from growing up in California where the summers roast you alive. I like the sound of the white noise, and when I was about 19 I ran across something called 'sound conditioners'. I use them year around, so even when it is too cold for the fan, I have a similar background noise which I find helps me sleep better.
