Ebay Sent Me A Yellow Star Today ?

the email said i was a 10.whatever that that means.an i got a star to download an a award. i dont sell on ebay. i only buy off ebay.so can anyone tell me what the star is for.i didnt know ebay even had a star rateing.

You get rated buy the sellers when you buy from ebay. It is similar to the myLot rating system it shows your reputation as a buyer.

Yes, the feedback system at eBay is so that buyers and sellers can see if the person bidding or selling is honest. I've often not bought something from a seller because they've had a ton of bad feedback. I love the feedback system. :)

Yep, the yellow star is the first star. If you keep it up, there will be many more to come!

The stars are a rating just like they have one here on mylot. I am now up to a torquoise start which means I am over 100 feedbacks. I mostly buy but do sell some. I hope that this helps. It is really kind of fun to watch your stars change color especially if you are like me and strive for nothing but positive feedback.

Dear classy56 Yellow star is for 10 to 49 points Blue star is for 50 to 99 points Turquoise star 100 to 499 points Purple star 500 to 999 points Red star 1000 to 4999 points Green star 5000 to 9999 points and after this there are shooting stars on ebay :) Out of these stars ..
