Toffee Bars

1 1/2 cups butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 egg yolks
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
6 Hershey bars
Mix all ingredients together; except Hershey bars. Spread in small cookie sheet. Bake 350-degrees until golden brown (about 30 minutes). Place Hershey bars on top of warm bars and spread. Let cool and slice.

Oh dear I do love my toffee but cannot eat the amount that I would really like to eat so thank you so much for this nice recipe I shall have to save this to my recipe folder and give it a try as I have never tried toffee bars before. I usually make toffee apples.
