Ideas to reduce Carbon Emmissions

Do you have or have you heard of any ideas to reduce Carbon C02 Emmisions. I saw a documentary last night and there were some good ideas like boats that make clouds and artificail trees that soak up C02! Do you think we need to act now or wait until the problem gets worse? I think we should be trying as much as possible as quickly as possible. People that say well i'll be dead by the time it affects us are selfish people. We need to think of future generations maybee your kids?

Some scientists have said it may be practical to capture CO2 emissions from power plants and pump them underground, where they can be stored in underground caverns or something. There is also talk of making coal burn cleaner by turning it into a liquid. The sooner we get started on this kind of thing, the better.
