Someone, anyone tell me what the deal is!! How come I can get more done on a Saturday morning then my hubby accomplishes all day, and yet he will walk into the just cleaned house and find the one tissue that one of the kids dropped and make some snide comment about it??
How come we have an empty box collection?
How come my incredibley talented, multi-faceted husband who truly can fix nearly anything, never does, but fusses if I make noises about hiring somebody? (Please note: in my opinion it does no good if you can fix it yourself if you never do. Hint 2: six years is more than adequate time to fix darn near anything!)

LOL...this was a cute post and although not entirely inaccurate, I must be fair. My husband does more than his fair share around the house. Many people tell me that I am a lucky one, so I guess I will keep him and let him continue helping me out..Still, I loved the post !

LOL, that is so funny, only because I have exactly the same complaints about my husband. I will spend the entire day cleaning so the house is sparking when he comes home. If he notices (which he rarely does), he doesn't really say all that much, but as soon as one item of my daughters clothing or an apple core is left in the loungeroom for any period of time, the house is a pig sty and needs to be cleaned. I often ask my husband why he does not help out around the house (all I ask is that he takes out the garbage or mows the lawn), and his excuse is that the man goes out to work and the woman stays at home with the kids. A little helping hand every once in a while is always appreciated though!

Okay so no one has an explanation for the empty box collection!! He claims it is so we can mail packages, but I happen to know that the birthday gift we picked out for his sister three years ago still lives in his truck!

If your husband is anything like mine.. and it seems as though they're near twins, from your description.. there's only one excuse. They were born with the dehabilitating disease known as "Idontwannaitis". It's not that they CAN'T, it's not that they don't know HOW.. it's just the fault of this horrific disease.
There is a medication for it, though! It's called Chocolate Cake. You may have heard of it.. it's widely known.
I can write a list of things that need to be done and nothing gets done, except when I mention Chocolate Cake. Then, for some unknown reason, things that I didn't even know needed done get done.
Try it! It's readily available.. Over the Counter.. in most grocery stores. LOL
