Join the club, I crashed about an hour ago, too. Although I did have a reason. Anyway, when I am down I usually try to have something sweet. Chocolate helps. Also, talking to someone helps, but sometimes that isnĀ“t possible. So write about your problems here. And if you can do something that makes you feel good, like earn a few bucks online or watch a sappy romance, that is also good!

It's common if you've had a depressive episode (or episodes) before. I know how it feels like. But when i suddenly feel depressed usually i couldn't do anything at all. Maybe i try to listen to some songs that would make me sink in with the melody. Or write about what i'm feeling somewhere.

I get this too the out-of-the-blue-depression-syndrome. If the depression is uncalled for, I sometimes call home and check on my family maybe this feeling is intuitive, if they are ok or I send a small prayer to the being beyond and hope that this is only passing. Then, I keep myself busy by doing chores, getting online or go out and watch that movie people have been raving about. Keeping busy helps me pull through from this fit. I hope you do too.

When I feel depressed, I try to find out why first. If I can find a reason, then I know it will pass. Otherwise, I try getting out of the house, especially if the weather is nice. Walking is great exercise and it produces endorphins. I also take St. Johns Wort which I get in the health food store. It's safe to take and it helps elevate my mood and chase away the blues. I also love listening to music, reading a good book and just taking some time for myself with a hot bath and some scented candles.
