I think that that's one of the most commonly perpetuated, ridiculous pieces of **** which I've ever heard. It places having a relationship as this kind of supremem priority when, in reality, there are just so many things which are more important and deserve more of our attention. In any case, if EVERYONE'S task is to be paired off with someone else, why would any children die?

Hi LadyLeene,
That is your opinion and I highly respect you for that. However, I believe that we cannot totally put the blame to these deaths on them alone because definitely there are other circumstances way beyond our control.
God may have his reason for allowing this to happen, whatever it may be we jud don't know but I believe he has his own really valid reason.
I even know a friend who is raising her own child in the absence of a father-figure. The child didn't die so there are always execptions to what you believe, we just got to be more open about it.

Maybe, but a blanket statement cannot be true if there are exceptions to it.

I agree. The blanket statement that has an exception was "In any case, if EVERYONE'S task is to be paired off with someone else, why would any children die? I guess it follows that this isn't true after all.
Maybe, maybe not, I was just reading between the lines.
