CONGRATULATIONS!!!.....YOU HAVE WON ?750,000 Pounds
You have been awarded ?750,000 Pounds(Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Pounds) in the SWISS-LOTTO Satellite software email lottery in which e-mail addresses are picked Randomly by software powered by the Internet
through the worldwide website.
Your email address was amongst those chosen this year 2007 for the SWISS LOTTO Satellite lottery. And this promo is proudly sponsored by the SWISS-LOTTO UK organization
-- Do you also get emails such as these? they do have a site and I did check it out unfortunately I can't undestance a bit of it! https://www.swisslotto.ch
its not in english, there was even an address and a contact number from where I can contact their agent. But im nowhere near switzerland! Do you think this is true? are there really TRUE online Lottery draws? or all of them are scams only? I sure do wish i've won something though- I could really use the money...

Catcai, You can be sure that you haven't won any money. It's a scam
to get your money. They'll tell you that a courier must be sent so that you can SIGN For the disbursment of the money but there's a FEE that you must pay for his services.Trouble is it takes weeks for the bank to validate your check from over seas which you'll then be informed is no good . But guess what? your courier friend is long gone. Not only that if you had won any money it could simply be wired directly to your bank account . The reason why I know this is because someone tried to recruit me into be a courier
write through my own e-mail about 4 months ago .Then about 3 weeks ago I received a letter stating that I'd won 1.5 million from a BRITISH TOBBACO COMPANY LOTTERY . I followed the link back across the sea and found out it was all a scam and the perpetrators are wanted for FRAUD .That is of course if they get caught which will never happen .GOOD LUCK to you .

Thanks for the response pismeof, i really do appreciate it-They did mention that the transfer fees and tax should be shouldered by the recipient and is not deductible to the winnings and furthermore- they say that i have to finish paying the transfer fee before they can send me the money. oh well... so much for my happy ending! thanks for response though! take care and have a great day! =)

Yep. Pretty likely they are scams. Don't ever respond to them... they're fraud. I once had an encounter with a Nigerian (this isn't an online lottery scam, by the way), who asked for help in transmitting his money for safety at some bank here in the Philippines (my country) and we get some token for helping (like around a hundred thousand dollars) and my dad dealt with him by phone every night to find that he is asking for a portion of our dollar account in the bank. He's trying to outsmart my dad by being friendly and smart-sounding as possible. But my dad's not stupid, so we stopped dealing with him. And he wouldn't stop sending us fax papers of plea. gawd.

Sorry its a scam, I mean how did they get your name & why are you the lucky one?
Do you have to give $$ to get it to you?
I mean its not that great & it sounds too good to be true so protect yourself!! Avoid these like the plague!
