I just got another rejection email. It;s hard because I think I have a really good CV, but I'm not very good in the interview. I get nervous and forget things. I try and prepare as much as possible, but I don't like giving rehearsed answers or making things up just because it's what they might want to hear. I guess I'm too honest lol So I applied for another one last night, just have to keep at it till I find something. Anyone have any tips? And how long did it take for you to find your last job? I've only been looking for a couple months but it feels like forever already! lol

oh I am so sorry, I know how depressing rejections can be, but I look at it this way there is probably something better waiting for you around one of the future corners you turn....

Yes job rejections, any rejections start eating into your confidence and self-esteem. You set yourself up for a fall each time, and it doesn't get any easier. I have been out of work since last July and now I have joined a Jobclub to help me find work, they are very supportive and will follow up jobs and get all the feedback so I can learn for the next time. But I get so frustrated, I know I can do the job but there's a technicality or something stupid. The worst thing is when you send your cv or application form off and you hear nothing! That is so rude and very depressing, at least they have the decency to reply even if it's with news you don't want to hear!
