Again both sites are meant for different purposes.Helium is a freelance writing site. You earn based on your ability there.Mylot is a discussion forum and every one here uses it in a similar way. That is there is no question of talents here.

I do believe that no matter which site it is everyone gets rewarded appropriately for their efforts.
Thanks for posting your response.

http://www.Helium.com
is another place for people to write about things. I was asking of the people that write in both places which one they like better.

MyLot by default. Don't get me wrong though, MyLot is a really great site. But I've been a member of Helium since it was on the beta stage and I earned pretty fast over there, especially during the 100 Great Topics Contest they had. The only thing is, I can't access the site anymore from where I am. Hopefully I can still claim the money I am owed over there. MyLot is great since it is more diverse and there seems to be a lot more interaction between members.

I'm sorry to hear you can't get to the site any longer. You should try to find one of those portal sites or something, sorry can't be much help but a while back when I was working for a company everyone use to go to this site and be able to get outside of the blocked areas, might be the same in your country as well.
Thanks for the post.

I guess that I think each one serves a purpose for writing. Here on MyLot, there is no judgment; you just write what you feel, however long or short on whatever topic you like. The income, though small is steady. On Helium, to me, it's still freeform writing but structured around a particular set of subjects and judged all the time by persons rating the articles. I've only written a half dozen articles over at Helium, but only have about 30 cents so far. It seems like more work, but I like the variety of writing experiences I get online. Glad I don't have to choose. I think of MyLot as much more relaxing.

I personally have only written 5 articles on helium because I got caught up with work and this site however out of my 5 articles I have already made about $4.69 as the time of writing this post.
I like myLot because I can be more open however I like Helium because once you write a good article you will get paid as long as you stay a member without doing any additional work.

I write for both of them and I like mylot best because it is quicker to earn money for me. If you have a lot of articles on helium then you might be able to earn a little bit. I have over thirty articles and am just now up to two dollars. I can't believe how hard it is to make money there.

Everyone has different experiences that is for sure because I have made more money quicker over there than I have here. I am consistently making money here but that's only because I make an effort to be here at least once every single day.
Thank you for your view point.

I would suggest you go over there if you have some good article that you would like to get published.
Especially if it's really long since people under 500 on this site can't past their articles.
Don't expect to get rich off of 1 article though... :)
