On what occasion you give cards???

add to your list bithdays, anniversaries, weddings, new home, new baby, get well, chritsmas, thanksgiving, easter, childs hi, i miss you, thinking of you i give cards from the heart, not just a formality. sometimes i make the card from scratch instead of buying. i also send e-cards and a snail mail car to surprise them. my daughter gave me my best card ever. all it said was; mom, i loveyou and i want to thank you for loving me. it is still on my dresser and it is signed by her and a friend of hers wrote on it also. she wrote; hi "mom" thanks for letting me call you mom, i love you too. I will cherish that little card forever. the flowers that accompanied it are long gone but their beauty are in my heart.

My family all live across the country and I think it is nice to send cards with special messages for holidays and special times, when we can't be together. My kids also like making the cards themselves. It adds a personal touch to them. People always seem to like them better. The main events I send cards for are; birthdays, christmas, easter, mothers/fathers day, anniversary's, general we miss you cards and just a note to say hello! I definately think they are better than an e-card!

I am terrible when it comes to cards, its always the one thing that I foget to buy. It's not that I don't want to but I just keep forgetting.

i love to give cards... really love to!!!!!! but my husband does not likes to give or recive cards and that makes me sad... the person whom i love the most on this earth only does not likes!!!!! that is why i always give him and be happy. lololo! and offcoure family and friends too i give!!!!!!!!

Cards are really a nice wa to express our feelings. Irrespective of the important occassions i do send cards to my friends. Most of the times on the ocassions of birthday, festivals i do send cards to friends and relatives. Wishing on festivals and birthday is different from wishing good luck , congratulation and conveying a sorry. I do send cards when i feel sorry , that i had made some mistake cause of the misunderstanding i will deffinetly send a card and apologise. Thats the best way to convey the message with a cute card.

yes i do like to give away cards specially in new year. this year i have given away 60 new year cards. though i got very few responce. i think next year i will not give away that many cards when i dont get enough reply

I give cards on many occasions, that includes birthdays, anniversaries, baby shower, milestone achievements, baby births, personal victories, farewell, bon voyage...the list is endless. I love to give cards so I'm always looking for a reason..lol I like to receive cards too. I try to give paper cards as much as possible and revert to e-cards at the nth moment. I don't consider it a formality and give it with a sincere wish.

Usually I give out cards to my family, girlfriend, and other people close to my heart during Christmas and on their birthdays. And for special occasions like they're celebrating some great achievement like the graduated, or won something really praiseworthy, or I have made them feel bad, I do give them cards be it congratulations, invitation to dinner out, or apologies. and sometimes I just give out cards just because... I love hanging out at the bookstore here in the city, and when I find some cards which are really beautiful, I do pick them up and give them away to either my girlfriend or my parents. I just love to see the smile on their face when I handed them the cards.

I Send cards at Christmas and birthdays mainly. other than that i mite buy the odd congrats or chritening cards or something. Suppose it depends what the occasion is and if i think i would need a card lol

I have no tradition to give cards. Usually I say what I want in words. Sure birthday, Christmas are special events so there are only cards I give to somebody.And sure every card is henestly from my heart.

i usually send or give cards to my friends and loved ones on special occasions like graduation, wedding, birthdays, passing a board exam. invitation cards are being sent by my grand daughter if she wants to invite her friends for her birthday. during valentine's day, i gave my partner lovely roses and a special card about love and thoughtfulness. so far i do not remember giving an apology card to anyone.

I give cards mostly on birtdays other than this on festivals and other special occasions like their anniversary etc..

I used to be a card collector. I will buy tons of different cards for every occasion. Since I got my computer, I stopped buying and just print my own personalized card. It can be for a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary and so on. I can't pinpoint which is the most beautiful cards I received. All the cards I got were placed in a special box.

I normally send out cards once a year. It would be during the festive season such as Christmas or the New Year. I find it a good idea as it is an "excuse" for me to keep touch with long-lost friends. ;-)

ya friend i am totally agree with u and i am also giving a card to my best friend in all these occasion . infact when i propose to my new girl friend that time i can propose it by giving a friendship card . card are the best way by which we can easily express our feeling to the other. bye

Birthday cards are my number one choice, and then Christmas,Valentines Day, St. Pat's Day, Easter, Graduation, Get Well, and Sympathy. I have a real hard time getting cards because I have to read every card in the store before I pick one out. A lot of times I have a hard time matching up the card to the person, so I've made up my own cards. I think my husband gave me the most beautiful card of my life, because he usually doesn't give cards, and this one he wrote in it too, so it really meant something.

I love to give and receive cards. My favorite is just an 'I'm thinking of you' card. I gift a lot of fun or sweet, blank inside cards and say that it made me think of them when I saw it. A nice, strategically placed, 'to start the day of right' card is always nice. And then there is the card left in your spouses luggage when they go away without you.
