American Idol

It's really funny about Sanjaya, for a number of reasons. There are people who profess voting for him because he is so humble and sweet... well, the music business is a cutthroat business, ladies and gentlemen, and as such, it demands perfection. That is not negotiable in most cases, it's just fact. You want the best and the brightest. This popularity contest has gone far enough... Sanjaya Malakar is John Stevens, Kevin Covais, and RJ Shelton rolled up into one, uber popular, teeny bopper package that everyone seems to vote for. He's got a decent voice but probably belongs in the lowest rung of American Idol qualifiers. He should have been eliminated in week 1 of the top 24, to be honest with you. Sanjaya Malakar has become the rich man's William Hung for all I care. I can't tell you, waiting for the show last night, my wife and I actually sat and wondered how bad he would be... and lo and behold, he outdid my expectations. He was actually worse than I expected. It's amazing... congratulations, America... I think that if this is what you want, then you have been made to suffer... hahaha. j/k In all seriousness, this will balance out eventually. Remember, the best singer is more often than not chose (I can't vouch for Taylor Hicks...) I think that Sanjaya will find himself out of the competition in the next coming weeks, the top of the pecking order is too strong for him to stay.

I think Melinda, Lakisha, or maybe Jordin...if she keeps going the way she has been she may be in the top 3. As for Sanjaya...oh where to start? We all know why he is there. Because people have decided to try to corrupt the American Idol way of voting. He is horrible. He has no style of his own. He changes from week to week and doesn't sound good ever. As for him always smiling, (see comment above) I think it's because he's not that bright. He doesn't know what to do or say so he just smiles. He knows he shouldn't be there anymore. He knows he's horrible and that he's basically a joke now. But does he care? No. Why? Not because he's so brave and just lets it slide off of him. No...it's because he's not that smart. He needs to leave, but I'm afraid we're going to have to put up with him for a few more weeks.

i think that Dolittle girl should win (cant remember her first name) as for Sanjaya...he should have been gone a couple of weeks ago! he doesnt compare to any of the other guys.
