Do you ever reach the point where you just can't post on Mylot anymore?

For whatever reason. Do you feel you just can't go on so you have to stop posting? I've been posting off an on here all day long and I think I'm slowly reaching the point where I can't post anymore. How about you?

I had a spell recently where I didnt even want to come here at all. I think it was a mild case of burnout. I used to come and make 10 to 20 posts in one sitting. Now I find a couple to respond to and I just run out of wind. It has been a week or better since I have been here for any length of time. I feel like I may finally be coming out of it, but I think maybe we all need a break now and again.

Too true, a break from anything is certainly nice.

I know I have. I do it all the time, you know that. I just can't get into some discussions.

I know how you feel. I was the same way a few weeks ago. I think it't mylot burnout. I took a couple of days off and felt refreshed and ready to post when I came back. Maybe you just need a little mylot vacation for a couple of days. Can't hurt if your not having fun then you must need a break.

Yes, anyone active here will feel there from time to time. I suggest you go take a break. Do something different and breathe some fresh air. When you have a good rest and come back, you will find yourself rejuvenated and with renewed energy to post. ;-)

Yes, I think sometimes there is just nothing of any interest. Thereis always one 'friend' whos tarts discussions that have something to respond to, but once those are exhausted sometimes I just can't find anything and grind to a halt.

I guess in relation it's kind of like writers block, you go through a stage where you just want to leave Mylot alone and you just can't bet bothered to post, discuss or anything, so you give it a break, a day, a week even and then you are more fresher or you start missing your friends or get some ideas to start posting again. Everyone needs a break regardless of what it is. Time out as they say, good for the soul

i have reached that point and i think everybody reached that and feel the same way. My brain was drain 2 months ago and like i was infront of the computer, browsing many discussion but my brain is not working. I spent an hour or two but i post only 1 or 2 discussion unlike when i was new i could answer post 30 or more. So i never forced myself and stopped for awhile. It took me 2 months to get my brain working again...lol! Im glad now at least i could contribute again discussion and join other discussion. Wish my brain will not be drain again.

I just took a long break from here myself for awhile. I was answering a few of my friends posts but not a lot. I think I just got burned out for a little while.

as a matter of fact, i am in that point in time now, for the last 7 days, that my mind isn't working at all, totally drained. i can't think of any good topics to discuss with however, i was active responding to some posted discussions here. perhaps the reason why i am experiencing this is because i have been affected with some family problems. physically i maybe present in mylot but mentally absent. i hope i can overcome this shortcoming and will be able to renew my strength and come up with good ideas soon.

Yeah sometimes I feel like.. there's no topic that's popping out of my mind so I could post here in mylot. And often, I'm so busy here in my work that I can't find time to just even reply to other topic's post.

Actually, it's funny that I just ran across your discussion, highflyingxangel, because I'm feeling kinda "burned out" RIGHT NOW! I haven't posted ANY NEW discussions 2-day! It's difficult, because I wanna come up with THOUGHT-PROVOKING discussions, NOT just "frivolous" 1's that can be answered with 1 word or something! But right now, I can't think of any, which is EXACTLY why I'm about 2 get off of my computer! I LOVE these discussions, as far as the MIND STIMULATION, but after a while, as many have ALREADY said, yeah, u CAN "burn out"! Your brain starts 2 "short circuit"! I think ANYTHING that u do 2 MUCH of, and 4 "2" LONG, will have this effect on a person! Obviously, what I'm feelin' RIGHT NOW is a "sign" and a HALF 4 me 2 STOP, so I'm OUT!

I think it works just like in a relationship. At the beginning, everything is new and you want to explore all you see. After a while, you get used to it and things slow down. It doesn't mean love is gone though, neither for you partner nor for myLot. ;)

I feel the same way, there's a point that I don't feel like posting even into a simple and light discussion, I don't know. Before, I can make 10 to 20 posts a day averagely, now, hmmm.. 1 or 2 posts per visit.

Sometime I do feel that I just can't go on even if I have such a small numbers of discussions and responses. Also, I wonder sometime how some of us can post so many as compared to mine.

Yes, a few weeks ago i felt like i just didn't want to come on and post, so i didn't, hence my asbsense for a while. I guess i just needed to get away from it, re-focuss, and wait for people to start up some new discussions for me to get my teeth into!
