Do you fill lottery?

I believe that filling lottery tickets is a way of saying - I have what I have, but fate might have a little bit more for me. I also think that people who fill lottery actualy think of the future, and are a bit more optimistic - otherwise, why bother, right? I fill lottery from time to time - although the chances to win are a bit small, it doesn't costs much (I even get money for filling the lottery...) and I think it adds something to life. An excitment that comes from "maby it would be me this time". Do you fill lottery? What do you think it means? Do you get hope for a better future for yourself? What does it add to your life, even though you haven't won? Do you know of anyone who won something substantial?

I do from time to time. After all, 100% of the lottery winners tried their luck one day... why not me? :)

That is a great attitude. It goes for most things... Are you excited when you send the ticket? Or maby when the numbers are published? Do you have the feeling of focusing in order to try and make the numbers come out as you filled in your ticket? Many people get their muscles tensed while hearing the numbers or while watching them apear on the t.v. screen. What does it do to you?

I don't check the results live (I try to stay away from TV as long as I can... it's not good for the IQ :p ) I usually check the results the next day. my biggest winning so far at lottery has been 9€...

I buy a lottey ticket from time to time. I don't feel Like I am giving the universe an "I hate what I have and want more" vibe though. I see it as more of a "somebody's got to win, why not me?" type of thing. I like to think of all the good things I could do for my family and friends (ok, and myself) if I won. I agree with you that it adds some exitement to life! They say lotto is a tax for people who are bad at math :-x That may be true but I'm sure the winners think differently :-P

Hey Wendyloo, I have a question for you - have you written "I hate what I have..." in purpose or have just quoted my words? If the last is true, it might be a sub concious slip - I wrote "I have what I have...", and if your mind switched it sub conciously, well... (I mean no offense, just observing). Other than that, I like your attitude - it is exactly mine. I am happy with what I have, but I am always trying to improve with actions I do. A man must be happy with what he has right now - otherwise, he isn't ready to get more. There are many people who won the big prize in the lottery, and went bankrupt after one year or so - they weren't ready to recieve. Keep thinking positive - it brings only good things, and keep thinking of others when you think of your own wealth (it is not a shame to think of yourself, even though our culture encourage this concept for some reasin) - it means you won't be alone at the top.

Hi liranlgo, from the short aquintance I picture you as a truly interesting woman, open minded and happy. Being realistic is important in our lives, but it must be mingled in a bit of "magick" - luck, fate, mystic and so forth. It puts some more spice to life, isn't it? What do you do in order to accomplish your target, besides filling the lottery twice a year?
