People today tend to forget about the word KINDNESS. I hear very rarely that a person is kind or usekind words or responses. Are we in a generation who lost the value of kindness?

You are so right, sometimes poeple ask for advice woth a situation or problem with the kids etc and get bolunt replies, if you steel yourself to ask for help, it means things are hard enough and you need a little kindness.
I often think the world would be a nicer place if just sometimes people were a little kinder.

I have to say I agree with you really...Todays world has become very much a world where everyone is only concerned with themselves which is a shame...Not all ppl are like that though, I knwo that in my house Lovingkindness is a very important thing...I have raised my children to be compassionate, helpful and kind as much as possible..granted though, there are times when its hard for them or they get so caught up in a moment they arent as kind as I'd like but for the most part they're good about it....to the point that elderly ppl have commented on it when we are out shopping etc and one of the kids holds a door open or helps them with something....
Sadly though, I do think that kindness is becoming a part of the past when it comes to the masses....
