usually, i turn off my cellphone at night when i go to sleep because i do not want to be disturbed. besides, i want to save the battery's life. but for my partner she wants it turn on 24 hours a day.she does not want to miss a call especially emergency ones. how about you? do you turn your cellphone on or off when ever you go to sleep? share me your thoughts.

My cellphone is on 24/7. I only turn it off when I'm charging it. We only have one landline and I usually keep it busy because I was using dial-up then. So when my housemates wanted to use our land phone, they will text me first so I can free the phone line. At times, my niece will come home late at night and instead of ringing the bell, she prefers to ring the landline or my cellphone.

I usually do too, I think it helps keep the battery from having to be charged a lot. I have a portable phone beside the bed so really don't need the cellphone on. I have only had my cellphone for about 2 weeks and I didn't see a problem at nights while sleeping without it.

I'd feel so uncomfortable if I turn both my phones off! I'm so O.C. when it comes to emergency calls plus if we have events to attend to, there are lots of last-minute changes and updates that I need to always be kept informed.

I rarely turn my celfone off.. It usually only happens when I'm on an empty batt.. In cases when I wouldnt want to be disturbed by my fone, I just use my fone's silent profile.. Besides, my husband uses my fone as an alarm clock, so it's just on overnight..

i don't turn off my cellphone.if i'm really tired i put it on silent mode. the problem is my cell (a razor) can only handle 100messages in the memory - this includes outbox and drafts. when i turn off my cell and then turn it on, sometimes other messages sent to me don't come in at all...

I do turn my cellphone on during the night. I dont have much callers such time of the day to disturb me so I don't mind if its on. Besides,my family is in the other side of the globe so when its daytime there which is the time they usually call, its night time here so I dont turn my cellphone off coz I don't want to miss their call. I only turn my mobile phone off when I'm in the church.

I don't have any qualms leaving my cell phone on, be itbecause f disturbances at night or battery life. I recharge it when it's getting weak and I have no problem being woken up at night to receive a call, so, that means my cell stays on 24/7/365

I don't turn off my cellphone, not in any circumstances unless there is reason for me turning it off. It's like i'm 24/7 on call for my boss :) and besides I used it as my alarm also, me and my hubby are used to having it on and beside the bed at night.

Mostly i will not switch it off at night.Very rarely i do that if i come to know that someone whom i dont like to answer will call me.Its my elder brother who is abroad usually calls to my mobile at night bcoz sometimes due to line congestion he cannot connect line from his cell to our lan phone.he will shout at me if i switch it off so i see that i dont keep it off mostly.

i don't turn my cellphone off at night. i put it under my pillow and i also use it as my alarm clock. i'm a sound sleeper so i don't get bothered if people call or text in the middle of the night.

My mobile phone is always turned on. I just want to be contacted by my friends and loved ones anytime. I'm always ready to give help and assist them. Though sometimes I also hesitate to respond to their call. Well, it's just seldom. Anyway, mobile phone is a very necessary instrument to connect the gap between and among people. Although, we also have a telephone or landline at home, i still find the need of using my cellular phone as it is handy. It's portability means a lot because I'm a busy person. I often stay outside our house due to some office works, meetings, etc. I just go home to sleep, take a bath, etc. It's very useful, really.

i do not turn off my cel at night.. it just turns off by itself.. out of low battery.. heheh.. what i mean is, i really am not fond with it.. i only use it if there is something really necessary to text.. i even seldom receive calls..but if i happen to be expecting a text message at night, then i will turn it to discreet mode..

Nope, I don't. Before I do, but not anymore coz' I don't get all of my text messages in the morning if I switch it off at night. So I just put it on. And besides, my cell phone is my alarm clock.. ;)

i guess any calls are very important that's why you have to turn your mobile on 24/7. you want to be kept in touch right away in case there are urgent/emergency calls.

i usually dont turn off my cellphone at night. i think people would reach me better if they call me at my celfone. I aslo have relatives abroad and in another state that has a different time zone than mine and they call me even at night.

it's always nice to be reached out anytime through the mobile phones so we can keep our communication always open. should anything happens we are easily contacted if our phones are always turned on. we really don't want to miss any important calls. thanks for dropping by joimarquez. good luck.

i keep it on 24 hours a day. i don't want to miss a single message. most of the time i'm asleep the whole morning, and some people text me early in the morning to remind me of stuff i have to do, or bring, or just to greet me a good day. i really hate to miss all that. and besides, i'm thankful for these messages for waking me up early. hehe. the alarm clocks don't work on me. hehehe

i see how cellphones are more effective in waking you up than alarm clocks. mobiles give you messages while alarm clocks don't. LOL

yeah. lol. the sound of the alarm clock really bothers me, it irritates me. so i just turn it off right away, then get back to sleep. while in a cellphone, the messages would keep me awake since i try responding to them, and most of the time they respond back. so, it's difficult to just ignore.

you can use the voice messaging features in case you really don;t want to disturbed. any incoming calls are automatically answered back by your voice message.
