will you break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend over cigarettes?

will you quit smoking for someone? - will you change yourself for someone? or stay firm until they learn to accept you?

if your a smoker and your boyfriend/girlfriend is not and does not want you to smoke, what will you do? will you change for someone, or stick to the philosophy that "this is me before you met me, so better accept who am i".. is smoking/not smoking an indication of non-compatibility?speak up and be heard. share your thoughts

I was a smoker, and my fiance hated it. I did stop for him. I think thats just a small price to pay for a happy relationship. I am an occasional smoker now, and he is okay with that, because we compromised. Just as long as I dont do it near him, he is fine.
