Following your 'logic' then any deity referred to by the word Allah is the same including the moon god of Muhammad's father. An aeroplane and a carpenters plane are both referred to as 'plane' but only a half-wit would think that that means they are the same thing!
all the best urban

The Arabic translation for God is Allah. Therefore if you take something that is English and translate it into Arabic, the Arabic name will be used.
God (English)= Allah (Arabic). There is nothing unusual about that. If I translate the Bible into German, the word for God will be Gott. If I translate the Bible into French, the word for God will be Dieu. Do you get the point? I say this all in respect. There is no religious revelation here.
