If you have the opportunity to choose, what nationality would you like to be?

Given the opportunity to choose my nationality, I will choose to become a Japanese. I admire their discipline and determination to grow plus their way of thinking. From what they used to be, to becoming one of the most powerful and rich countries here in Asia. Thus, inventing products that are helpful to us. I really admire them.

my father whom i considered a pinoy patriot because he fought against the japanese during the world war II, his father before him and their forefathers as well as the great, great grandfather of my mom who was a pinoy soldier with the rank of general fighting side by side with gen. aguinaldo against the americans were all pure blooded filipinos. i was once myself an activist in the first quarter storm in the late 70s fighting against the conjugal dictatorship and later on was imprisoned and blacklisted in the university where i studied because i defended what i perceived to be the gross and glaring oppression of the pinoy masses then, is a pure and simple filipino by heart, soul and mind, despite all the corrupt system of governement full of crooks, thieves and scheming government people whose main occupation is greed for money and hungry for power, i will not still change my nationality to migrate and accept a mask of another nationality wherein ills of their government as well as their society cannot be ignored... there is still hope in us pinoys, love your dear philippines, live and act like pinoy and be a role model to your children and future grandchildren...

i'd still want to be a filipino. filipinos have more positive qualities which i can be proud of. some of which is being hospitable and family-oriented. we are also hard-working and indigenous. i believe that filipinos are considered as one of the most intelligent and creative race in the world. we have famous people who are known in their fields. we have lea salonga, monique lhuillier, paeng nepomuceno, manny pacquiao among others.

I prefer to be an Eskimo and live in Antarctica. It has been my childhood dream. Perhaps one day I will grow up and be the ruler of that beautiful place. :P

I HATE to admit but id rather be an american than a filipino. i hate to see the corruption in this country, the reason why the philippines cannot pay her debt.. and poor people cannot find jobs since the items are being held up by officials until someone is going to buy it from them.. i hate it!!!!

i'd rather still be a filipino. filipinos are loving, hospitable, hardworking, respectful, talented, and of course intelligent. tho there are negative features, but these are common to all nationalities. we have a lot of well-known personalities that are honored by other nationalities, we excel in most of the prestigious competitions abroad. to name a few, manny pacquiao and lea salonga. i am proud to be a filipino.

Good question! I would choose to be Slovenian because I think they are hard-working yet make sure they use their leisure time to the max. They like to get outdoors and are friendly, creative and good company. They may come from a small country but they are educated and know what is going on in the world around them.
