My favorite series is the original series with Enterprise. I just loved Captain Kirk and his team with Spock, McCoy and Scottie all being part of my all time favorite Trekkie team. Cheers! Ram

Yep, that's an evergreen among all ST series.

It's hard to pick a favorite since they are each to me individual, though I would have to say of for the most part I enjoy Deep Space Nine, which was consider by some the least popular until Enterprise came along. I am also a fan of the often forgotten Animated series. When people list the series they list Star Trek The Original Series Star Trek The Next Generation Star Trek Deep Space Nine Star Trek Voyage Enterprise For me the list is the same except that I add the animated series between the original and the next generation. I personally would love it if they would turn the Peter David books the Final Frontier into a series the characters are great, there is a sense of humor to these stories and it combines the best of the new with the best of the old series that I think most fans would love either as movies or tv series. The question is, are they done with Star Trek? have they finished creating series tv, or feature films? I find it hard to believe that Star Trek can be finished, I think they may have gone off the deep end a few times with the Enterprise series, and then the gaps in airing the shows that is so often done now, ruined what could have been a good series. But with Deep Space Nine, the characters were in some ways remincent of the old characters, they were not fitting into an ideal world, or society, and while Gene Roddenbury had created the Star Trek ideal with some level of letting go of the bias, and other issues that face the world we live in, he still dealt with those issues in a way that was relatable, and I think that Deep Space Nine did the same thing. I especially liked the evolution of some of the characters from that series, such as Nog, and Jake's friendship, and even the changes that could cause a Ferengi to become a star fleet officer. And watching someone like Kira change as well, the one huge problem I had with DS9 was killing off Jadzia because paramount didn't want to negotiate a contract with Tery Farrell.

I never really had a favorite, as the storylines intertwine quite a bit. That was, until Enterprise came along was when I finally ended up with a least favorite. As to which I enjoyed the longest, I would have to pick The Original Series, because that was around a lot longer than the others. I even watched the Next Generation repeats that my network was showing the hour before Deep Space Nine came on. I also enjoyed Voyager, but I was kind of disappointed with the way it ended despite understanding why (time limits). The way it ended with Voyager arriving in the Alpha Quadrant to be greeted by a fleet of other starships was good, but I would have loved to have seen a welcome home celebration. I do wonder what became of the former members of The Marquis (Torres, Chakotay), wondering if they were also welcome or if they got arrested or what. What was Admiral Paris's reaction to his finding out that he had a 1/4 Klingon grandchild? I can make my own speculations, but ... It was also great to see ADMIRAL Janway in that latest Star Trek movie, Nemesis, but we actually had to wait for that movie to find out what became of one of the former Voyager personnel.

I like TNG or Voyager. I'm really not into the original, as much as I know that's blasphemy to a Trek fan.
