The tree pollen is very high here and I have asthma. I went outside long enough to get into the car to go to a restaraunt and had an asthma attack. My throat started hurting and now I don't have a voice! Any one know any home remedies to help my voice and/or help get rid of the sore throat?

there is a yoga master named ramdevji maharaj in india. he certainly has a simple cure for pollen asthma. you will have to brouse the net to find excercises he suggests.
it helps!- it has helped me.

A teaspon of honey usually helps my sore throat. It's a short term relief remedy, but it's soothing.
My asthma is triggered by environmental factors too. I've found taking an antihistimine helps quite a bit. It doesn't completely take care of my allergy/asthma problems but probably 75% of it. I have my asthma meds too that help.
I use the chlortrimaton (sp?) during the day, but use benedryl at night. Benedryl makes me tired, that's why I don't take during the day.
If over the counter antihistimines don't help you, it may be worth a trip to the dr for you to check into Singulair or one of the other new things they have out now.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Thanks so much for the advice. I have to really becareful of what i take because some of those allergy meds caused my heart rate to get extremely high and it has caused my heart to stop. I will however contact my cardiologist before i get any medication for my allergies. ! The honey is helping! Thanks!
