The drama of a bus load of preschool kids that was taken hostage this morning ended a few minutes ago. The kids are from a day care and were on their educational trip. When they reached the Manila area, Jun Ducat took the whole bus and its passengers of kids, parents and teachers hostage. His reason was that he wanted to be heard by the powers that be of the plight of his students and that he wanted a better education for them. I am so fuming MAD! The end does not justify the means. He used those kids. He wants them to get a better education but he has already messed them up emotionally, psychologically and who knows what else! Mr. Ducat's background includes a previous hostage taking of two priests for i dont know what reason but i wonder how can someone with that background be allowed to set up a day care that provides education to kids and then he would use those kids so that he could get media attention. Its sad and scary at the same time that someone you trusted with your kids would do something like this...
