I don't believe this is how the human race started anyway, Bob; not with just two people, as in Adam and Eve. I would imagine that people never stayed all together in the one place, and the difference in sun factor etc. would have turned their skins different colours according to where they were born in the World?
Therefore, as the population of the World grew, the more races developed because they had to disperse to an extent to make space for everybody. Some preferred a sunny climate and some not, I would imagine.
When two different races mate, i.e. African and English, their children are often of a skin colour midway between the two. That's not always the case, but in many instances it happens. My brother-in-law is married to an African girl and their children are all a wonderful "coffee" colour. Thus, two drastically different races mating would create a whole new race, wouldn't they?
Further, if one was born in Africa, then they would have the skin pigment required to tolerate the heat of the sun, and are therefore born dark, but if born in Iceland, for an instance, the lack of sun would require a lesser darkened skin pigment, so they are born with a relatively fair skin.
That's my theory anyway, but I daresay you'll receive many more. This is a great post, Bob. Good luck with it and welcome to Mylot. Brightest Blessings.

See that's something you can't learn from the Bible... Look up evolution instead ;-)

yes, but later in the bible, a character named Abraham will be introduced, and he was concluded as the "Father of All Nations." from him came all the other races; not only through his son (Isaac who bore two more, which really did produced the "many"), but because he had an affair with another that started the other race.
