It's the exotic food here in our country. The 100 days old duck egg. It is called "balut." The chick or duckling is already developing. When you open the egg, you will see the head of the duckling. Hahaha. It looks disgusting but actually it tastes good. Especially with salt and vinegar. Many think that it tastes bad but actually I love it. Just close your eyes whenever you eat balut, because you might get pity on the duckling.

Liver, escargo (snails), clams and oysters on a half shell, octopus tentacles, Rocky mountain oysters, head cheese, I won't eat anything that looks gross or is slimy, yuck.

I actually can't stand seafood in general! Many think I'm crazy but I think it stinks! My mum used to make smoked cod when we were little and I think that's what did it for me!

I agree with you on the cottage cheese and i will add yougurt. In my opinion they are both disgusting. I can get past the smell let alone try to taste them. Yuck! Some other foods I find disgusting is clams. I won't even try them. Many people think I am disgusting because I love liver. I'm the only one in my house that likes it.

I will try anything once so finally I tried "chittlings" yuk... to me they tasted as bad as they smelled.

For me I think seafood is disgusting. I can't stand the taste at all. As a child I ate fish 3 to 4 times a week but when I was about 13 I got food poisoning from a local resturant from some bad fish . Ever since I can't even stand the smell.

Since I am asked ..I will say that I do not like "sweet potatos" at all at all..too much history to explain why..and I know they are favorites for so many especially during the Thanksgiving season.;)+

I won't go crazy... there are a lot of foods I think are disgusting. I'm just going to name one of the foods at the top of my list. My mom and my grandma love liver. To me that is vile! Why would you want to eat the organ that filters out toxins? That's just gross. And the smell... oh the smell makes me so nauseaus.

The one food that I really dislike is organ meats. Like gizzards, hearts, liver. Yuck!! But the absolute worst thing that I have ever eaten was some chocolate chip cookies made with coffee flavored chips instead of chocolate. I love coffee so I thought that this would be good. Was I ever wrong. The chips came from a dollar store and I don't know if it was because they were old or if they were just nasty to start with. Any way do you now that flavor that is in really cheap tacos from places like Jack in the box. There is this strange taste that you can not get out of your mouth. That is what the cookies tasted like. Also cold coffee that has been sitting there for some time! Yuck again.

Shrimp, since they are really bugs that live in the sea. I think that they are one thing I will never eat. The idea of eating a bug is really not that appealing to me. Too many like them though and I guess they are popular in many restaurants. I wonder if people know or care what they really are?

I will try anything one so finally I tried chittlings...yuk to me they tasted as bad as they smelled. Now I do lke other foods which my family call "guts" liver, gizzards, etc. but never again chittlings.

For me it's eel. I don't know why I just stay away from eating eel, maybe because it looks like snake and I don't eat snake meat either. EEwwwww I would puke everything out if I ever ate these two even if by mistake...

Well it's not food, it's a drink. I don't like coffee, My mother used to give us coffee when I was little for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even as a mid-snack. When I was 12 I hated it for the rest of my life that I don't drink it up until now.

Shrimp Paste (locally made "hipon"). The smell of it well send me reeling for breath. Though the sad part in this, its famous among gals here. Especially if it goes with sour fruits. When my wife was at the early stage of her pregnancy, she conciously punished me & watch me in anguish delivering this food to her & force me to share some of it. But come to think of it, probably this is just my mind working against me whenever im faced to face with that food. Majority of the people i know are completely oblivious to how i felt about it. Nah, ill just keep myself away from it & ill never be forced again, ever.

I still to this day hate carrots!!!!! Hate them hate them hate them. I also hate tuna, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches; that is all I ate growing up.

Something that's really disgusting to me is okra. I know it's good for your health but I can't stand it. same here I also would never eat cottage cheese it has no taste to me and I don't eat it.
