Politics and Cricket!!!!

yes politicians have vested interests and their presence is harming the sport. Cricket as a sport has taken a beating in India due to politics. We should stop watching cricket.

Actually i hate politics, i don't want to talk anything about politics but u know even sports is not left clean from politics,its spoiling the sports...,sports fan's passion for the game,love for the game.

It happens to football too. At least here in Portugal there is a lot of controversy involving football and politicians. I believe that this happens in all countries with the most famous sport in that country. Politicians are always trying to take advance of something. And this will never change.

Yeah cricket and politics are now almost same and close to each other in Subcontinent.politician are looking the ways to earn money by any means and same goes to cricketers. Both parties are money snatches.So the most horr..ible shadow is the combination of cricketers with politicians.Politician wants to have a hold on the game so they can use it as their political strategies. But they have forgotten that this is only a game not any war.So they have polluted it too much that the game has been become polluted.

Atleast in India,they are mixing it up..politics plays a major role in Indian cricket whether its with the selection or the administaration..lots of money is being spent in the field of cricket in India from the general fund I guess..And these people will go and come out in the first round itself which is very shameful for all..for them and for the whole nation which gave them all enormous support...

interference of the politician has made the cricket game a business now a days.its really a sad thing to notice now a days that our players are also becoming the part of it.

you are right. politicians know nothing about cricket and they are here just for the sake of money. the administrators of cricket should be former players who can do better for cricket.
