I don't like to cook in the micro wave. I use it mostly to defrost, or heat up something. The only thing I cook, are frozen veggies. I will put butter on them, some seasonings, and then heat up in micro. What are you interested in making, and I will help you.

I cook very often on the microwave. Try this
1] Pea pulao--Micro high oil in a large dish for a minute.Add 1 cup peas, 1 medium onion, ginger, salt, chilli powder, garam masala and 2 cloves. Micro high for 3 minutes. Drain the soaked basmati rice,1 cup [Rice should for half an hour]Add rice, 2cups water, 1 whole green chilli coriander leaves and 1 tomato chopped.Micro high 11 minutes. Let it stand in the microwave 2 minutes after cooking.
2]Palak Paneer--Put 1 big bundle of spinach in a large microwave bowl. Cover and microwave on high power for 6 minutes.Let stand 3-4 minutes. In another bowl put oil and micrwave for 1-2 minutes. Drop in cumin seeds and microwave for 1 minute. Now add 1 finely chopped onion, ginger and garlic. Cook for 4 minutes. Add 2 tomatoes and 1-2 chillies. Cook for 5-6 minutes. Now blend palak and the above ingredients in a mixie. Pour it out into the same bowl, add water if required, add paneer, then microwave for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
