To cut or not to cut?

My son's hair is getting long again. We had it cut for the first time on Dec.30th...3 weeks before his first birthday. I like how it looked when we first got it cut, but I also like it long. I really want to let it grow out at least until summer hits, but my husband wants to cut it now. What do you think? How long do you let your child's hair get before cutting it?

When my son was about 1, I thought he looked cute. His hair was growing long, but I didn't notice how long it really was until somebody said what a cute girl I had. I then got his hair cut. Now I look back at his pictures, his hair was alot longer than I remember. But I still say he was a very cute baby boy. Your son looks adorable.

I wish my daughter had hair to cut - she doesn't have a lot of hair - it's longer on the sides but on top it's still pretty thin. I guess you should just have it cut when you think it's necessary. If i thought it was getting too long or starting to look scraggly then i'd cut it.

well the length does not matter but i would let it grow until he starts primary school which is at age 5. Its up to u to let them grow if he is still young.
