What is a mylot star??

I have also wondered about that star. Good thing that you asked that question and the people here gave good answers.

You will have a Mylot star on your avatar as soon as you reach your 100th post on the site.The star is a summation of the ratings your responses and discussions get on Mylot.So, the more quality responses you post the higher the chances for a better star.Hope you get yours soon.

After you have reached 100 points, next to your name in the ( ). You will get a star. Your friends on Mylot rate your discussions and posts with +. They add up. 1 to 10 on a star. It has no value, just lets you know what they think of you. I hope that you are rating everyone too. We work as a team. "best response" is by our name....only one time for one person each posting. And, the + is for a good one, - if it is a one word response, and a ! to turn them in if they broke the rules or were vulgar. So rate us if we take the time to help you. Your first mylot star will show up once you've reached your 100th post. A mylot star is a manifestation of the quality of the posts you have created. Mylot stars change: they either go up or slide down.. They go up when you continue posting with quality and they slide down when you commit violations as per mylot rules.. Happy posting!!! I just recently joined this site and I'm working towards the 100 response mark. Just keep posting responses and when you get to 100 you'll hopefully have a star.
