Check out the information in this topic. There is a lot of information on things to do for Earth day.
We at the above site care deeply for the environment, and always post good information up for others to use.
I hope you can find something useful for your girls to do.

Let me search my memory....Daisys...that was 10 years ago....I know we planted flower seeds in dixie cups with potting soil. We also rolled pine cones in creamy peanut butter and then in bird seed, attached a string or yarn hanger and then hung our bird feeders on trees. I hope this helps a little bit.

Thank you for your help. We used the homemade birdfeeders last year. I wanted to do something different this year. We have a local event that is giving away small trees for the kids to plant. I think they can do that instead of flowers.

You might also look in the interest group called "Girl Scouts" for more ideas. I checked your profile and noticed that you do not have that interest group listed. There are a bunch of us leaders that are in that group. Come join us and share your ideas.

Thanks again. I am very new to Mylot and don't know about interest groups. Where do I find them?
