Do you do anything special for Easter? What do you do with your family?

Easter is very big in our house. We start the day with going to church. We then come home and get ready to have a big family lunch, which is usually cooking out steaks, burgers and so on. While everyone is inside changing out of their Sunday best my husband goes outside and hides the easter eggs and I put the Easter baskets in the living room. My kids then find what the Easter Bunny left them while we were in church!! They then go outside and have a big Easter Egg Hunt!! I love Easter and I love what it stands for. My family is very blessed and thankful to have the day together and remember why it's so special.

We do the same thing as you just about every year. Starting the night before we color and decorate the eggs. Then on Easter we go to church. This year both of my children are doing something special in front of the congregation. I am very excited to see what they have come up with. Afterwards, we either cookout (which is what we'll be doing this year) or I cook a big dinner, like ham or something. Then we let the kids go hunt the eggs, sometimes twice because they enjoy it so much...LOL

I glad that you and your family have such a great time on such a wonderful day! Let us know what the kids did and how did it go. Mine are in the Easter Program and I can't wait, it's their first program! My parents are coming to our church and I can't wait!
We also have to do the Easter Egg hunt several times during the day!
