Can there be peace in the mideast?

Many have been speculating that they can be no peace in the middle east because of the way Israel threat is neighbour with distain and holding the Palestians lands. I believe this is true the Isralies do not want peace. If there is peace Israel will have to go give back the lands it captured in the war back to the palestians. So in delaying peace talk the more home the isralies can built on palestians lands.Also there in no one to stop then because the united States always veto any embargo the UN try to put on Israel whether the Israelies murder innoncent civillian in the gaza strip or the west bank.I do not see any end to this problem all i see is blood shed on both side. Mostly on the palestians side because the Israeli are the super power of the mid east and most of the muslim countries in the mid east are scared of the Isralies and wound lift a finger to help there fellow muslim brothers.
