Our surprise on MyLot

Like all change I think this will take a little getting used to. I'm trying to figureout how to better customize the page. So far I've had fun moving the sortie boxes around on the page. But for my next task I'm trying to figure out how to get boxes of my other interests on the front page. Right now it only populated with certain interest boxes...for example, Television, Music, and Health. I'd rather see some of my other interests like cooking, crafting, knitting and being frugal. Has anone figured out how to add intersts?

Hi Margie,I'm happy to try something new and if I don't like it I'll just reset it.I think it's nice that who ever these myalot people are that they are trying to give us some new options.I'll have to check it out for a while before I can really give an opinion. As far as the earning I'm happy to accept it but I've become much richer here in knowing the myLot friends that I'm getting to know(you included) and to have the opportunity to talk to people from so many different places in the same day is a wonderful thing. I guess I don't look at this whole thing the way the majority does but I have often swam against the current! Cheers Sweetie R

Well, I´m glad I wasn´t expecting anything like a raise of our earnings or clearing up the rules for posting (revealing the big secret). I don´t think I´m going to use half of the features displayed there. Ok, now we can see some "discussions your friends have posted" without coming here. But I can also check that in my inbox. The weather report is nice, but I watch the news regularly to have detailed information, therefore for me it´s not anything I really needed. I´ll have to work my way through the novelty (hmmm) to see what exactly it has to offer. Mind you, I certainly preferred the look of the page before the change. That was it then, was it? I´m sooooooo happy!!!!!

I think its good but Im not sure about the blogs I dont know how to do them.LOL Im sure someone will tell us.

I think it is just a bit confusing. I don't know if I will ever use that page for much other than what I already was using the page for. I don't know anything about blogs and things like that. I think it may be a bit confusing to new members who join Mylot. I am having a hard time navigating it myself. I will have to try and figure it out and look at it more when I get some free time. It sure was a shock though when i seen it. I was hoping for something more spectacular to benefit all of us here.

I don't see anything exciting to me? what do you think. I see some changes but. Why is everything blank are they still working on it, I think so.

Heck, I don't know. It will probably take me a month to figure them out. I read the alert and about all I can say is dah. I don't have the time to do all this new stuff. But I am sure you have it all figured out and will be ready to answer all our questions...lol.

Well, I don't want to sound negative but I'm not too crazy about it. I think that maybe it's just something that will take a little time for me to get used to. Who knows, I may end up really liking it in a few weeks. I'll keep an open mind about it.

I am not that fond of it. I liked it the way it was, I guess you can view more information on a page. The problem I have with it is probably simalar to alot of peoples, I hate the teeny tiny print! One thing I enjoyed about mylot was the somewhat larger print in alot of places.

Hello margie! I dont know what it could serve me and I dont know how it could benefit me. I was looking for a great surprise like increased earnings for all the peopel here on mylot. Take care!

that was the surprise well um im not that excited about actually its just confusing from the way it use to be its way different i like the old way better

Not really. I was quite comfortable with the way things were. I am not very computer literate and now I will again have to ask for help in setting up my profile page. I just hate learning new things at this stage of my life.

If this is the surprise that MyLot threw a load of unasked for and unwanted clutter onto my pages then NO ... flippin' hate it .. Thank goodness they provided buttons to get rid of it all .. and go back to a blank page again .. I am sure someone in MyLot must have thought it all a good idea .. but why .. why on earth would I want to see the weather .. or yet more adverts .. and as I already have a plethora of lists for discussions, friends, messages etc etc why would I want more cluttering up the page .. So NO .. no excitement in the slightest here ..

I am not sure what you mean by the "surprise"? I will have to look at your other posts and find out what it is about.

No I have yet to be thrilled by any changes I have seen. The one thing that I really wish we had they still haven't done. Once they add that (If they ever do) I will be thrilled.
