Which map u like the most in conter strike??????

There are more than 40 maps by default in counter strike and one can download any no of maps from various sites.
but why only maps like de_dust,nuke, train or inferno are played the most and considered to be standard and used in all competitions.there are other hostage maps like cs_italy,cs_havana etc which are pretty gud .
Any expert comments??????

I feel that dust2 is the best map. It is a balance of risk , chance and skill and i feel it isn't biased in favour of any particular side if the right strategies are employed.However it is a bit small if you compare it to nuke and inferno and does lack some quality camping spots :D. There are ample opportunities in this map for both maggers and assaulters although inferno and nuke are biased slightly in favour of quality maggers.Another map which is widely used is train. Train is a large amd fun map and each time I play this I continue to get surprised by the new camping places and different assaulting stategies. There are a few standard places to use the magnum, but an assaulter can easily surprise a magger. This is also a very balanced map but is slightly biased to favour counter terrorists.Now coming to dust. It is a map very much in favour of counter terrorists and it is very easy to counter a storm by the terrorists.

yes you are very right that there is a balance of everything in d2.and is not biased to either of the teams.
but what i feel is that maggers play a vital role in d2 as compared to nuke .this is only because tjhe sites here are very open and even average can aim and mag.there is straight path between a and b site .whereas in nuke the sites are very covered so u need a quality maager who can switch very fast and shoot.And abt train i still find it diff to play lot of camping spots and one needs to be really alert .and not to forget abt the people hiding in darkness

Your point of a fast switch in nuke is correct.Magging will take a lot of skill at the bombsites.

ya the best map which i like is d2 or aztek.. and aztek is snipers paradise.. 1 of the best maps.. and fr small maps like icewprld,aztek world,snow,and all and there is also awp_india man deadly map.bocs i am sniper so just like tat map.even dust 1 is preety gud map. guys cs has arnd sum 140++ maps .. so cant say whcih maps r the best just select and start fraggin.. se ya

i think dust2 and train are perfect map one is a ct map another terrorist map cool maps luv to play both of dem either pub or clan match
