My boyfriend has just completed his MBA and is looking for a job currently in the finance industry..He has been trying for a long time now but not much success..There are not many openings for freshers in the finance industry..How do I support him?? He is very disappointed and I cannot see him losing hope..He has already posted his resume on different websites but this is also not much of use..I want to help him but i dont know how..Could someone help me or give me some ideas? What can I do to make him feel better??

I have a similar experience and it was not easy. My boyfriend finally got his first job a year later after his graduation. At those times he was unemployed, he was depressed and grumply all the time. We constantly fought. I was there witnessing him losing hope and succumb to depression. I figured that it was time for me to offer help. I submitted his resumes to different website. His ego boosted after he recieved several calls about the job applications. I constantly gave him positive feedback that would help boost his self-esteem. I never failed to give him all the support that he needed and kept reassuring him that no matter waht happens, my love will not change and will always be with him . I helped him deal with his situation until he finally got a great job from a big company. Just stay with your boyfriend and support him all the way.

Thanks for the support and understanding my situation. I have also been trying to help him by looking for some jobs on the internet. But the problem is that he wants to settle down fast so that it would be easier for us to get married. The time factor is upsetting him even more. It is important that he has a good job asap so that I could tell my parents about him. I am trying to explain him that he should not worry about these things so much, but he feels that this might be a problem later.
