What is SUCCESS to YOU?????

Success for me is 2 parts. Financial success and social success. Financial success is self explanatory, it all about money. Social success is something I would like to explain. I think that personal success is important, but the road to success is a lonely path. If on the way, you can gather friends who can work with you to success and become successful together, that is real success. You can be the most successful person around, but you don't go and help people around you, that just shows how unsuccessful you are.

Nice saying. ;-) Success for me is living a well-balanced life, being able to reach out to others, having the freedom and the options, living up your calling and standing out in your field of endeavor. It is also never giving up despite failures and refusing to stay down.

Your education must become your first priority. When I first went to college, I wanted to be an Officer. I would change my major a few more times, and I decided to go with a career that I really enjoyed: teaching. I have taught for over 2 years, and you really need to go with your heart for your career. Sure, others may make more money... but in the long run, happiness certainly matters. I love what I do... and when I retire, I can look back on a life of service to others. If you're sold on making a lot of money, you basically have three choices: medicine, law, or business. Good luck to you.

Every New Years, I make a list of goals that I want to achieve for the year. I think success is achieving whatever goals you may set for yourself.

Success depends on what aspect of your life you put more value in. For me, i value most my family, so for me success is taking care of my family well, giving my children the best life they could have by inculcating the values i learned from my parents (living simply, not looking at material possessions to measure the worth of a person), and making my wife and children, and myself, happy and contented. I may not be that successful in my career, or financially i may be just okay, not filthy rich. But if my kids respect me and my wife, they are happy, responsible and upstanding members of society, and they are productive...then i can say i am successful!
