I live in England. I love the countryside most of all. We have green fields to enjoy walking on. I am also very fond of the coastline. We do not have any dangerous animals or threats to the landscape. The weather is one of the worst things about living here. Winter is just too cold. One summer an Australian friend came over here. He said it was such cold day. I told him it was almost as warm as it ever gets in my country.

The best about the country I live in is the FOOD and not forgetting, SHOPPING! In Malaysia, you can find almost anything. I heard that visitors who come to Malaysia only bring empty luggage. There is no problem with food, we have everything from Asian to Italian. Visitors shop till they drop in almost all the malls here. So, next time if you are here, just bring yor empty luggage and bring those Sterling Pounds that are 5 times more value than the Malaysian Ringgit. Thats right, MR$5 = 1 Pound

I love cycling in the summer. We have plenty of bike paths here in Montreal. We also have many parks and marinas. Since the winters are very long, people generally cannot wait for spring to go out.

I love all of the freedom I have here in Canada, and of course the free healthcare, that's covered by the government. It's nice to know that if something happens to me up here, I will be taken care of, and I won't have to declare bankrupty.

Your post about England works well for my views on Norway as well. What I like even more about Norway is that there are no huge differences between people. I also like the fact that we pay a lot of taxes to ensure all get the necessary benefits

Why do I love my country.... Let me begin! I am a very proud Canadian. I love that we are internationally (mostly) liked by other nations and people. I like that we are polite and kind. I love that in my country we have rainsforest, mountains, prairie, tundra, lakes, and seaside. I love that we are the largest country in the world, I love that we have the largest unprotected border in the world, I love how we have the most fresh water in the world, we have the longest street in the world (bloor street in Toronto). I love how we don't have the need to make weapons and nukes, I love that we are diverse in population and people, how we have 2 official languages (english and french). We invented hockey (and are the best at it too, yes I know people may argue that, lol I put this in here for fun), We invented velcro, basketball, lacrosse, and pasturization. We have a national healthcare system so that if you need to see a doctor you can and do not need to worry about a doctors bill. We have an pension for people who are above the age of 65 yrs old so that they can retire, only if they want, and still have money to live with. I love that my people can laugh at ourselves, our politicians, and eachotehr without any real slight being taken. We have Tim Hortons!!! Canada is the birth place of Doug Gilmour, Bret Hull, Steve Yzerman, Don Cherry (and many other numerous hockey players), Kenau Reeves, Jim Carrey, Mike Meyers, Tom Green, Avril Lavigne, Celine Dion, Alanis Morrissette, Shania Twain, 3 Days Grace, Our lady peace, Great Big Sea, Tea Party, the Tragically Hip, the Bare Naked Ladies, and soooo many more! Yes, we have winters but nearly as cold as some people would think. We have 4 seasons each having its own beauty. I love my country.
