I travel a lot and this time in the past 6 months I have lost my luggages thrice with British Airways (Unfortunately I can not fly with other airlines for the next 3 months). Its a pain loosing your luggages. Though I do not keep any important items and documents in my luggage any more, you can not afford to loose them at a stretch three times. Sad part is that you can not file a case against the airlines ( When you buy the ticket you consent to their terms and conditions which safeguards them). Twice I have got it back after a week or so but damaged and destructed condition. How many of you have had similar experiences and Is there any solution to teach a lesson to the airlines. This is not only my case, when I was there in British Airways office I had seen many people with similar complaints .

This is a common problem with BA ever since they started terminal 4 work. They say that it would be rectified soon. Last September they misplaced more than 6000 baggages and many they they destroyed as they felt the damage claim would be cheaper than reaching the baggage to passengers.
