I think that is true to a point but when children are involved it is good to have a source of communication and yea I think sometimes when you first split up there is too much raw emotions to be able to talk and with some people they never truly get past those emotions. I can see why it would be best sometimes just to part ways and leave well enough alone. Thanks for the Comment.

No I don't talk to my ex we were together for four years and have a son. He hasn't seen his son since he was 5yrs and he is now 9yrs. My son don't care to see him and I could care less if I ever spoke to him again. It was a long hard relationship and he put me through a lot. I have found a wonderfull man and my son calls hin daddy. I think it good if you can get along with your ex if there are children involved. But sometimes you can't and its better left alone.

That is understandable, If you try and try to get along but nothing works, you really don't have any other solution but to part ways. I felt this way at first with my ex husband but finally after all these years we are talking again. Thankfully his new wife came into the picture for the girls sake and she and I handle things when it comes to the kids and things are going well.

Yea sometimes it is just better. I am beginning to think it would have better if I had never started talking to mine again but maybe its just because I am having a bad night. Thanks for the Comment

That happens, I couldn't stand my ex husband when I first left him but I talked with him for the kids sake. Thankfully we have been seperated/divorced almost 9 years now and we finally get along again and are able to talk reasonably without a arguement. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment..Good that you can still talk to your ex and yea its probably not a good idea to talk to much to a ex especially if you have a present relationship

That is really hard. When I left my first husband we had two daughters and he was like that. Thankfully that was 9 years ago and we have since put the past behind us and now talk on a regular basis. It was his new wife though that came in and played mediator between us that finally got it to where it is today. I hope eventually she will talk to you about your son for yours and your sons sake.

I still talk to most of my ex's. They have actually become some of my really good friends. I don't know if I could ever stop talking to them.
