dessert-creamy caramel flan

here the recipe:
3/4 garnulated sugar
4 eggs
3/4 cup water
1 can condensed milk(sweetened)
1tbsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
preheat oven to 350 degree.
In a pan over medium heat pour sugar stir until it melts and get the carmel color.
now in a oven safe round shaped container coat with this caramel.
In a large container whisk eggs stir with water, milk, vanilla and salt
pour this mixture in that round shaped container or even you can use custurd cups.
place the container in a large shallow pan fillled with 1 inch hot water.
bake it for 30 to 35 minutes.
cool and chill for 2 hrs before serving.

Oh, this sounds delish!!! I love creme brulee as well....very similar!

I hope I can find this discussion again, I really want to try to make it. Creme brulee is just as good.

Ooh, caramel flan, that sounds soooo good! And it's all basic ingredients I always have in my kitchen too, I'm always looking for good recipes that I don't have to run to the grocery store for some rare ingredient to make. This looks easy and yummy, thanks for the recipe!
