Do you agree with the statement that school uniforms help students concentrate more on their studies and less on their personal appearance?

Uniforms are multi functional -
It makes you part of a group - so even the shy fit in. It makes all equal.
It enhances the whole idea of dissipline.
It does take your mind of personnal appearance - saving you time in front of the mirror.
For schools I think uniforms are absolutely nessesary

School uniforms are necessary as an identification of one's role as a student. There are students in school uniforms who will still go the extra mile to draw attention to themselves. Latest fad is to wear coloured teeth bracelets. Sad to say, I have also seen many students misbehaving in their school uniforms.

i agree coz usually in a school, students come from various sections and classes of society and if you are allowed to have dresses of their own choice it can be phsyclogically bad for poor students whose parents are not that well off to bear the expenses. And you know a child can't understand such things and gets depressed and it affects his/her personality!

I disagree! They Hitler's soldiers! It's stupid to force young kids to wear uniforms and block their inative to develop their own taste.
