Do you beleive in good or bad omens? Like if you see a ladybug, do you believe it brings good luck? Do you jump when a black cat crosses your path? Do you run and go buy a lottery ticket when you find a four leave clover?
I love ladybugs, not sure if they bring luck, but they sure make me smile :)

We have 3 black cats and I would be making waaay to many detours if I tried to avoid them crossing my path. I have been known to throw salt over my shoulder when I have spilled some. I don't know why I do one and not the other.
Finding a 4 leaf clover is always a big deal. Before we were married, my husband and I were on a picnic he asked me to marry him and I said only if he found a 4 leaf clover. He spent the rest of the afternoon looking untill he found one. I have it laminated to my marriage license.

Hi! Oh, no, no omens for me. I'm not superstitious. I thought it was funny when strange things happened on Friday the 13th! LOL And about black cats, my family has owned several, so if they brought bad luck, I'd be done for! LOL

We have a couple of women at work that are so superstitious, it's not even funny. Well it kinda is lol.One got mad at me, because I accidently sweeped her feet when I was cleaning up my workplace. She said it would bring bad luck. I was like, huh?? lol

I believe in omens, but I suppose they are my own particular ones, not the standard.
For example, it is white cats that scare me, because whenever I've been injured in an accident, one always seemed to be around. I love black cats though.
Ravens are a good omen for me, especially in threes. I always know I'm going to have a good day if ravens are watching over me as I leave my home.
I could think of tons of others probably, if I thought about it hard enough, but I won't bore you with them all.

I love ladybugs too, the plastic ones...LOL. I don't believe in such things as black cats but I do believe that there are people who could sense an omen of bad things happening such as one friend of mine. Everytime there would be deaths in any of her relatives or people that she knows personally, she could hear a certain bird sound that would keep on circling the house where ever she may be and which she's the only one who could hear and see. Now that is what I call a believable omen because everytime she hears the bird, she would tell one of us and a few days after, we would just hear of somebody the she knows or somebody related to her dying. It is really creepy.

There may be something to omens - however, I feel people often read what they want into signs and omens. What happens happens, some good, some bad. Learn to take the good and deal with the bad.
When I was a gardener I loved to see the ladybugs...

I believe that superstition has a lot of power, IF you give it that power. I think that people will be more likely to notice the good stuff (or even make sure they subconsciously do/see/create more good stuff) when they come across something they honestly believe will bring them good luck. On that same note, I believe that people will be more likely to notice the negative things when they come into contact with whatever they honestly believe will bring them bad luck.
I don't personally believe, however, that anything in particular with bring bad or good luck to a person who doesn't believe in such things.

My mother was like that, very much so. But, not me. I don't believe in that. I believe in fate and God's will. That's it.

I'm quite the cynic and whatnot and I don't believe in omens or superstitions at all. When I was really young I used to fret over walking under ladders and seeing black cats but I was easily impressionable and believed anything others told me. Now with plenty of life experience under my belt I know these are just old wives tales and they hold no truth whatsoever.
