When I've read stainless longganisa, I have learned that it is all about writers. Their life and dedication. The most funniest thing I've read in this book is that, writer's are very weird coz they undergo so many weird habits. For example, Bob Ong gave this writer as an example. He needs to dirnk glasses of coffee before writing. Geeeesssshh!!! Imagine that. How bout you guys?! Do you have weird habit too?!

I am a writer both by profession and freelance.
As a student journalist, you really have to meet the deadlines and pass articles on time. To most, writing may be very easy, but to some, it is very hard especially if you want a good piece. Staring at a blank sheet of paper is not that easy especially if you're running out of words. A writer normally undergoes routines and rituals for him to concentrate better on writing. Mine is that I drink at least two cups of coffee while writing. Coffee has a substance which stimulates brain activity, therefore, making you think better and concentrate on writing. Writers just do it for the sake of writing itself.

I'm not a writer, but when I had to write things for school, I could not stop eating. I probably gained 20 lbs. in the first 2 semesters. I could not sit down and write without a snack. I also couldn't stand to write with any kind of noise around. My husband usually has the tv on really loud, so I had to go up in my room or sometimes sit out in the car in the garage so I could concentrate on my writing.
