well I have a cat and her name is little love. I named her that because when she was a kitten all she wanted to do was love on you and she would just purr and purr so I would call her my little love and she started answering to it so that became her name. as for other names: angle, I had a spike once, macey, jett, my boyfriend had a cat once named Yet. I hope some of these sound ok. good luck in picking a name it can be hard. Welcome to MyLot.

The name for my cat came from two places of origin. The first name was Sprite because I was always buying Coca Cola and I had likened my cat to that of the soda bubbles of Sprite soda. the other simply came from the name Fuzz for which my cat being so densly clustered with cat hair managed to freeze the spinning fan motor of my computer

A couple of years ago my friend's cat produced 8 kittens, and she was stuck for names until we cam up with this. Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, Mars, Venue, Mercury, etc., we named them for the planets. She decided to keep all the kittens and can honesty say she has the solar system living in her house.

i gave my cats names from their characteristic or fur color. Spot is a combination of yellow and white. Purr, is a ginger cat and he was named Brown before we changed him to Purr, because he purrs like a motor when you scratch his tummy.

I've got two cats right now. One is Kittie, and I think it's pretty easy to see where that name came from. LOL. The other's name is Psycho. When we got he was about one. He was just crazy. He would run around like a wild animal, nip at your feet, play rough with the dogs, etc... He was like 'extreme cat', so we just started calling him Psycho and it stuck. Not sure of those examples are gonna help you out.

I have always given my cats their names based on their appearance or on their personality. My list follows: 1) black & white cat, looked like its fur was black patches on the white = Patches 2) cat with M on forehead = Muffin 3) soft, fluffy cat = Fluffy 4) feral cat I found in Boston, Ontario = Boston 5) white cat I rescued from a sick creep = Snowball 6) feral cat, mostly black with a white tummy and paws = Pepper 7) black cat with just a sprinkling of white hait = Sugar I guess my names are not very unusual but none of my little guys and gals ever complained to me that they didn't like their names. They always came when called and they purred as though they would never stop. As of now, the only cat we have left is Sugar and she is 16 years old. She is an indoor cat because that is much safer for her but she has a very small, safe area that she can go out where no other animal can reach her and she is happy with that. I even have a small tent for her in the summer so that she can go out and have some shade if she wishes. As well, because she is a long-haired cat, we always get her shaved before the really hot weather sets in so that she won't suffocate with her heavy coat. By the time winter has come around again, her coat has grown back although it doesn't really matter since she has no desire to go out during the cold weather.

I have had many cats and I always name them after gods or goddess's, some names I have given them are as follows: Salem - this being one of 2 execptions, he was a black cat so it only seemed fitting. Akasha - means spirit, he was white Ra - Ginger Neith - Grey Zeus - White Thor - white Zarlis - Ginger Buddha - tortoiseshell Gaia - tortoiseshell
